Ipod Adapter

I am looking for suggestions. I want to install an Ipod adapter in my 2007 750i. I dont like the quality of the sound through the auxilliary input. Does that CD changer replacement apply to this car.

bmw ipod interface for facelift cars is pretty easy if u have that 6 disc above ur glove box, take out ur old cd changer, replace it with the ipod unit get a new silver trim piece and it should work just like that, but it would be better if you can change ur MMI to the right options with NCS expect as well as your vehicle order. (just swapping out u cannot get the song names playlist names etc) if u dont want to or cannot code yourself etc, bmw will code ur car for like 125 or so is what they quoted me, before i found out that they wouldnt be able to do it because i have a pre facelift.

Can you do the same for a 2002 BMW 745i or is that change only for newer models?
