Sounds great! Sounds just like my car actually. I need to get some recordings since my iPhone can take a video now.

Prob the same or similar one you have. It's in my sig "Magnaflow exhaust (x-pipe, mufflers, resonator delete)". I'm not sure exactly the model but it's nice.

I think it sounds terrific.
I just purchased a Britalman cat back system for my '06 650 convertible and will be interested in how it sounds vs. the Magnaflow.

I removed the first set of resonators and replaced them with an x-pipe. The rear resonator is the box looking thing and I left that in. I think it is great. The X-pipe removes any drone and the second resonator helps as well. Its loud but not annoying at all. Still very classy and deep.

K - it sounds fantastic! Would you share the costs?

Alpine - I'd love to get together to hear yours in person.

Yes I'd like to get together in person. But I am in Mesa AZ and the car is here too. Do not know when will be back to FL.

BUT here, the part # for these are 11235. and they are CHEAP. I think if you buy online it can cost from $70 -$120 each. but you have to pay for the installing, go to a muffler shop and ask them about Magnaflow Exhaust Part #11235, I think they can do them for less than $600 ( both Muffler and Tips).

Because Magnaflow does not have Cat back or X pipes for 650i. so I only changed exhaust BUT I think they are sounds GREAT. For my personal opinion ( do not need to take off resonators because will be too loud, and that was what the guy in Magnaflow said also. But after you done with the mufflers and still think is NOT loud enough then you can take 2 resonators in the fount out and make a X pips if you want )
Good Luck.

Hi nice video. I have some Q.

When you did that X-pipe. and no resonators. How many Resonators did you remove? Did you gain any HP with X pipe? and also. when you driving with all the windows up how loud is it?
I do not know why?? Now I do not feel my car is loud at all.. Maybe I am just get use to it. LOL
I am think to get a X pipe too. But SOOOOOOOOO worried about when I'm driving at 70 MPH with the annoying sounds like puh puh........ Could you get a video when you driving with all windows up please ?

All the resonators were removed, and the guy told I would gain HP with the system, but not sure how much. All he does is build custom exhaust systems...

The sound is pretty loud I must admit even with the windows up, but I love it! The drone never bothers me...and you do get used to the sound, its never as loud as when you first get the exhaust LOL...

If I were you, I would definitely get the X-Pipe, you won't be dissapointed...I'll try to get some video soon...

6orBust I love the sound of your exhaust! I want to get a custom exhaust, I just don't know what to start telling the people. I don't want to get screwed because I have no idea what i'm talking about. I defiantly want to take out the resonators and put a x pipe and a custom muffler. So I will go talk to the shop here and hopefully get one soon, then post a video!
