Auxiliary Port

Hi All -

I have a 2004 X5, 3.0i and I want to install an auxiliary wire cable for the iPhone/iPod or any auxiliary wire that will let me hook up music directly to the stereo?

The FM transmitter is giving me problems and no cassette player.

i went with the isbm72. hooked right up in about 5 minutes and i get crystal clear ipod music.

Do you have a link where u bought it and how do you hook it up quickly? I am interested, I have a 2003 x5 with the single CD player and I want the aux hook up.

The cleanest solutions allow you to control the iphone/ipod from your stereo and even see track information on screen. Depending on the version of the system you've got, various features may be available to you.

Most, if not all, of your car are prewired for the 6 disc changer in the driver's side compartment of the rear cargo area. Finding the cable there will determine the options available to you.
