rear end noise, help! axles?

Hey guys, I got a 93 2 door..
I get a clucking noise in the rear when going slowly over bumps. (sounds like something may be loose), and I also get a rubbing/groaning noise when cornering hard (sound comes from the left when turning right, vice versa. Also in the rear) im not sure if these are related, but my guess are axles? Anyone e andve these problems?

Ive replace rtabs with powerflex polys, im running megan coilovers, and have also replaced the diff fluid.nothing has helped.. Thanks

Its also a 5 spd and I have active autowerke DSB (diff support bracket) the puny diff bushing was toast

Clucking? Like a chicken? If you mean clunking, look at your upper shock mounts. The CV axles typically don't make clunking noises until they come apart completely, and that's just one big CLUNK and it's done (ask how I know ).

My money would be on RTAB's. Another quick, inexpensive fix.

lols sorry did that post on my phone.. um i guess my real question was, can it be my axles? i just put 2 and 2 together and thought the creaking/moaning noise while cornering had to do with the axles, also with the clunks.. FML i guess ill just drive it til something snaps off.. i have new megan coils, can't be the RSM.. and its not the RTABs as i changed them to polyurethane ones from powerflex..

Check your RSM, like HH said. Could be the wheel bearing too. Lift it and spin the wheel to hear if it makes noise. Could be the RTABs too but you mentioned that you replaced them already.

Did you replace the RSMs with new when you put the Megans on? Coil-overs put considerably more stress on the RSMs and could have ripped the ones that looked good when you put it together.

The creaking/moaning reminds me of some reports of sounds after installing poly bushings if they weren't lubed sufficiently.

I didn't mean any disrespect there. TGFG = Thank god for google. It is more like acronym envy. I admire anyone that's been around BMWs long enough to hold a complete conversation without using any nouns.

Edit: Also a Wallace and Gromit fan.

It took me at least a year to catch on to all the acronyms and jargon. I did a lot of Googling, too.
