m52 help breather help
hi all im putting a 2.8 m52 in my e30 and i want a bit of advice.
i have had to change the sump from a m52 to a m50 one witch means i have lost the crank case breather drain.[due to different dip stick] to counter this i have been looking at the m50 set up and to my understanding there is no breather for the crankcase it is done by the cam cover and blow by gasses get to the cam cover via the chain area. i was going to just use a oil catch can to replace the oil separator valve as i haven't got a drain back to the sump any more. would this set-up be ok? also can any one tell me what this is? and is this the valve for the heater matrix? also dos this connect to this?
