VIN Manufacturing Plant Code "0"

Hi,

I have just purchased an F25 2013 and have the number "0" as the 11th character of my VIN. I have searched previous threads but was unable to find the corresponding manufacturing plant for my X3. Any help would be appreciated.

I have tried the website www.bmwvin.com but it would not provide me with the manufacturing plant.

The X3, X5, and X6 are all manufactured in the US, in Spartanburg, SC.

+1. Made in my backyard. Ok, about 30km (20 miles) up the motorway, but you get the idea.

I see the 35i will not be assembled there (at least not yet).

Just curious: what were you planning to do if you learned your car was assembled in Indonesia?

I would sue the dealer as I was told specifically that the X3 I was buying was built in Spartanburg. This would amount to a misrepresentation on their part and I based myself on that misrepresentation to purchase the vehicle.

Did you have it written into the purchase contract that the sale is contingent on the place of manufacturing being Spartanburg?
