The Evil Engine Light

I stepped in my car today started her up and was nearly attacked by a crazed spider on LSD and accidently floored my accelerator out of shock. Shortly after I got on the road I noticed for the first time in my exsistence of owing my 7 the dreaded orange light of death popped on. It isn't driving any different and I don't see any smoke or hear any odd sounds. Any idea fellas?

Got the codes pulled. They are as follows P2402 P0460. Looks like something to do with the fuel sensor. Probably a by product of me flooring the gas by accident.

Yea that sounds like something thats going to piss my wallet off. Theres a guy on youtube doing it to an M3. Not sure if it's a similar process or the same thing. Might have to take it to an indy so they can tell me the exact problem.

Did you try and clear the light then drive it and see if it comes back on?

That did cross my mind but the guy at Autozone told me it was illegal for them to do that. How do I clear it? Wouldn't I need the code reader tool that they use at Autozone?

If you don't have a scanner try disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds.
I've had random codes and just cleared and they never came back
