X6 E71 / E72 (2008 - 2014)
The BMW X6 luxury crossover went on sale in April 2008 as a 2009 model year. BMW referes to the X6 as a Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) as it combines the attributes of an SUV (high ground clearance, xDrive and all-weather ability) with the stance, styling and roof line shape of a coupe. The E71 X6 was built off the E70 X5 (2007 - 2013) platform at BMW's Spartanburg, SC plant. Total worldwide sales were just over 235,000, sold mostly to the BRIC countries. US total sales was 34,082 vehicles.

Then MTEC added biasing circuit to make white brither or blue brigther so you get color adjustment(but less light output at the end).

IMHO, go with DTEC, once you install it it's rather hard to go back and adjust the biasing switch to change color. I cut my hands (little cut) here and there putting my DTEC into my X6 last night. Other BMW maybe even tighter.

FYI, I didn't pay $199 for DTEC, other vendor runs a special $120 shipped for a set.
Hey man, i finally changed my daytime running lights. Heres some pics. Thanks for your suggestions. I got the 32w LED at the end.Click image for larger version

Mein Auto: 2008 X5
Hello all, new to this sight but not new to BMW's. This is my own this time, an 08 X5. First upgrade angel eyes. First question after cutting up my big hands removing the xenon bulbs and trying to install the cree's. It seems like the wire connection is different. I removed the braided wire 4 wire prong from the xenon but the crees have a 2 wire prong. Did I receive the wrong bulbs? Thanks.

My 08 X5 has a braided steel cable running to the bulb, that wire has 4 pins, my led wire have 2 pins, totally different connection.
