I'm still seeding 47.7 if I recall correctly (at work at the moment). Looks like I need to update that too. I need to sort out the best way to keep this updated with the latest stuff or break it up better.

Good to hear. Last night is was looking slim, so I was wondering. I've been maxed out on my upload the past week, 24x7.

I've got the recently torrented 47.7, but I'm not able to read the FEM_BODY module on my 2013 f30. I get this error:

File for "cafd_00000794-004_122_077" not found!

Thanks a lot

Yes, this is an orphaned CAFD from 47.1, and not new. PM Sent.

One more question. What is the equivalent to the KAFAS module on the F30?
Or is there a way to search all the modules in one shot?

I thought the F30 had a KAFAS module as well. If not, I would look in FEM_BODY, which has most everything in it.

Unfortunately, there is no way to search all modules at once.

Awesome, thanks. I re-purposed an old laptop for this project- it must have been on the shelf for about 7 or 8 years. Of course the hard drive was too small, so I put in a cheap solid state drive and stripped out tons of stuff from XP. The result is an amazingly fast ancient laptop, and a database heavy program like E-sys really enjoys this environment with the SSD. I now have the parts for the cable, just one small detail remains. The car. It will arrive here in Ottawa likely in January. Other than that, all is good.

Brian.

Shawn, there was no .txt file in the sendspace ISTA-P v.48.1 PSdZData New CAFD's Since v.47.5.rar file. You may want to plug one in there.

I copied them over to the cafd directory and they dropped right in. I take it the crackers just add new cafd files as they figure them out and then there is a higher version (e.g. 48.1) available? And then Esys occasionally updates their software as well, which sounds like more of a pita to upgrade. The last time I was poking around Esys connected to the car back on 11/17 I did have problems finding most of the ACSM 3000 Ausstattungsflags folder so perhaps they are there now and I can turn off the seatbelt warnings, etc.

I don't think many of us actually know what is going with these apps, just that they work. : ) Thanks for all your help.

Ok. I guess I forgot to include it in the sendspace upload.

What do you mean crackers? I ripped those files straight from ISTA/P 2.48.1, and they are unedited.

E-Sys is easy to upgrade. When that time comes, just run the Installer.

You can add these to 47.5 or "47.7", and you will be fine, because I based it on new CAFD's in 48.1 compared to 47.5.

That said, I also did a file comparison of PSdZData in 47.5 and the recent 47.7 that was posted, and they are 100% identical. So, it was either not actually 47.7 and was 47.5, or the files changes in 47.7 did not affect any PSdZData files (e.g changes were to SP-Daten not PSdZData).

Coding Assistance / Cable Loaner?

Is there anyone in the Northern Virginia / DC area that has coded their F10 5 series and is willing to help walk me through the process? Also, would you have an ethernet to OBD II cable that I could borrow to do the coding?

Please PM me if so.

Thanks in advance!
