545 heater vent question
I checked in my idrive for the climate settings to see if I can make changes.
My question is, I'm able to get hot air from the foot well area only, I can't feel any heat coming out of the dash vents. I've turn both driver and passenger climate control to max temp and only get air blowing out of the dash vent, but no heat. is that normal? The car does have cold weather package with heated seats, and steering wheel. Last edited by boost7; 11-21-2012 at 04:51 PM. |

in the climate control area - scroll to the driver side seat, navigate to the center selection, then push the idrive knob to the right and you'll be in the center box on the right. From there you can turn the dial left or right and you'll see the onscreen go from red to blue or vice versa. Set it to your desire temperature settings and exit out.
the first time looking at it , I didn't know you're able to access that box with the idrive knob and make adjustment. Last edited by boost7; 12-17-2012 at 12:51 PM. |

Max red bars here. Passenger side is hot, driver cold. What gives?
