noisey wiper blades

Last night it was raining (think of it as heavy drizzle... haha). I set the front wipers to auto, and I hear a faint sound that sounds like rubber rubbing when the wipers go up and down. Its not audible if you raise the radio volume up (not blasting), but knowing the noise is present is bothering me. When I use the wipers to wash the windshield when dirty, the noise is not present. Strangely, its only present when it rains.
Anyone else encounter this?

Did your dealer replace the wiper blades? The ones they use as the free replacements are different (and worse) than the original Valeos which come from the factory and can be purchased on Amazon.

They look similar though. Can you link me to the Amazon ones?

Driver's side

Passenger/co-driver side

Trico seems to supply the Free Maintenance blades from the dealers.

sounds like a suggestion would be to replace the factory blades with new ones?

Having a heck of a time identifying the CORRECT replacement for my 2011 E70 (april 2010 build).
The search on Tire Rack and amazon seems to imply the wiper arm changed after 10/10.
Mine has the PH style arm (a pin and a tab). Searches seem to indicate post 10/10 has pin only style arm.

Can anyone confirm this?
Valeo's own tool only covers 2007-2010 (pre-LCI).
Indications are I need 900-24-5B and 900-20-6B
while a post 10/10 build would need:
900-24-9B and 900-20-8B
Since their pictures lack detail, I can't tell the difference.

Oh, and these are 70/pr at Tischer, and 40/pr on amazon so no - I am not going to the stealership.
Never thought buying wipers would be more complicated than buying tires!
