550I coolant leak

I recently had a coolant leak on my 2010 550 from a small hard plastic tube above the radiator.
There plastic tube is 12" long just above the radiator upper rail. It failed because it became brittle and cracked near the clamp location. This tube has metal inserts pressed into the ends so it can support the force of the clamps for the hose attachment in either end. It's a return for the coolant overflow tank. I don't like that this cheap plastic part could leave me on the side of the road, so I replaced it with copper tubing. Click image for larger version
