2005 X5 Dash Lights

Hi,

I have a 2005 X5 Diesel and all of a sudden I have no odometer, trip and outside temp light. Does anyone have any ideas. I have also just installed a Hualingan HL-8786GB DVD\GPS and cannot work out how the GPS works, I can pick a location to find and then it will sit at that location and not start to move. Thanks

Id suggest rechecking your work...especially in installing an aftermarket unit in the dash. The MID/Nav unit that your removed is connected to the I-bus...and the instrument cluster is a major gateway component in the car's communication bus system (all roads go through the instrument cluster). If you lost info in the cluster after the Huligan install...you may have interrupted data in the cluster.
