X1 E84 (2011 - current)
The new to the US BMW X1 will arrive at BMW dealers in the fall of 2012 as a 2013 model year. Get your X1 28i with either sDrive (RWD) or xDrive (AWD) or get the US exclusive I6 N55 powered X1 35i dDrive. |

X1 and 2 car seats
I know, just go put them in the car... No I am, tomorrow.
But curious to owners, I'll have a booster for a 5 yr old and an infant 2 weeks old in a rear facing seat. Is it comfortable over time? Our X3 lease is coming up and might end early for the X1 based on trade in Val, payoff, etc. So,how comfortable is the fit? I'm not worried about travel trips as ill do a roof box for luggage, seems BMW sells a cross base system for the rails so my box for the mini will fit fine. |

What seat is your RF? Some can really reduce the room for the person in the front seat.

The rear facing infant carrier is going to be the issue, there's not a whole lot of space back there. Like you said, take it into the dealer and try it out, but most likely the person in the front is going to be eating their knees. The best place is the middle for for the infant carrier, but if you have another seat back there, it's probably not an option.

Too bad you already have the Graco infant seat. Chicco Keyfit will fit easier or Cybex Aton will fit easiest.

I don't know if this helps but I used the Graco Snugride in an E90 and it fit OK but does require the front seat to be moved forward.
