Sluggish engine
Here's a brain buster folks... started my car after letting it sit for an hour or so, was running perfect before, and it was very sluggish and not sounding normal almost like it was being flooded. Took off down the road died at the stop light . Had to keep revving it up at a stop to keep it from dying.. drove for 5 min no change. Got to the gas station let it sit for a couple min, it started up like nothing ever happened drove normal no hesitation... so my question is wtf happened?

I'm thinking it's related to fuel supply. When was the last time you replaced your fuel filter? Your fuel pressure regulator and/or fuel pump could also be on their way out.

Could also be electronically related. Make sure the alternator wires are secured down.

Fuel filter changed 1k mi ago dumped out black fluid from the old one I'm sure it took its toll on the fuel system, thanks for the quick reply! And I'll check alternator connections as well.. it does seem like my battery life has been allot shorter than usual. Thanks
