Alignment question - winter setup vs. summer

A quick alignment question for my 2003 330i;

I have 2 sets of wheels and tires -
17"x7" for winter - 225/45r17 snow tires - currently on the car.
18"x8" front and 18"x8-1/2" rear with 235/40r18 front and 255/35r18 rear.

I want to have my alignment done. This is the only reason I visit the BMW dealer.

Does it matter if I have them align the car with my 17" winter setup.
When I put my 18" summer set on the car will the camber or anything else need adjusting?

Won't matter if it's BMW. They will just put it to spec. If you do a custom alignment beyond what stock BMW recommends then it makes a big difference if your alignment shops knows what they are doing. The square setup (17s all around) will be more neutral. The staggered (18s) will promote more understeer but this can be dialed out by a good alignment shop.
