Got the car

After 2 months I finally picked it up yesterday with 7 miles on it. Everything works great and am very happy I got the HK sound and DHP. With a press of a button I feel like im driving a different car. Im going to put tints on in the next week or so and will update the pictures. Only question i have is, where do you keep loose change?

Looks great. Congrats.

Funny I wondered about loose change as well. I have not yet come up with a solution.

Try a small pouch in the armrest. If you put it in the armest loose, it could make noise. Also you could try the small door underneath the light switch , which you should have if you do not have backup cameras and parking assist.

Congrats. There is a small cubby to the left of the steering wheel. You can actually see it in the pictures you posted. Perfect for change, sunglasses, or anything else you can think of.

By the way, I am not a fan of wood trim but that looks down right classy with the saddle interior. Good choice.

Thanks everyone. I know about the compartment on the left but didnt want to just throw change in there. Probably just going to get a small bag maybe even a ziplock and just put it in the glove box. I lived in a big city my whole life and have always kept quarters in the car for meters and now i live in the burbs i really dont need them but its always good to have some. I love the burled wood with that inlay.

I have never seen that inlay in Burled Walnut before. What is the story on it? Is it exclusive to the Lux?

Congrats on the car, but that inlay on the wood looks a little strange to me, are you sure it's meant to be there? If not it would be an easy thing to get fixed.

Another question. Do the key fobs come with cases or do you just get a key?

Congrats, and excellent question. I ended up recycling a compact camera case and put it in the driver side door storage area.

No case, not that you would want one. The key is pretty bloated already. You can buy one from BMW though.

Got the car

Am I crazy? There's the flat compartment in front of the cup holders that I have a few bucks in quarters and odd change in. Almost 4,000 miles and I haven't heard them much.

Georgeous color combo. That wood trim looks fantastic with the saddle interior.

So far i like them and have no complaints. I will have a better idea when i go on a long drive, i only have 50 miles on the car now. The side bolsters on the sport seats were a little tight for me, i wish they opened up a touch more and i would have gotten the Msport instead. In my old 08 535 i had the 20 way comfort seats which i thought might have been the best seats ever made, you could adjust them anyway you wanted.

I have those same sport seats in my '07 and I also had something similar in my E39 and my E36. I like the look of the Luxury Line but I'm not sure I'd be quite as comfortable in non-sport seats.
