2009 X5 & iPhone 5
I tried to connect my Lightning USB connector to the USB port found in the X5 armrest, and noticed that it would not charge my phone. I called BMW service and was told that only models 2012 and after charge the phone. ugh!
Is the only option to charge the iPhone 5 to get a car charger? Any recommendations for one that works well and fits well in the 2009 X5? |

The USB port in the armrest of my 2008 charges my iPhone 5 just fine. Not sure what could be going on with yours.
