Drifted my 318iS ...into a barrier! :(

So last night I was driving my friend home, and hit a patch of frost or something horribly slippery and slid at around 50km/h, hitting a barrier with my front right rim (and bumper/panel) and cracking it... also bent whatever was holding the wheel on I'm guessing.

I'm not sure what i should do, as I'm a student working weekends with a low budget. Any suggestions?

You'll need to thoroughly inspect for any damage throughout the entire front suspension. Provided you didn't bend the frame, the front suspension parts are pretty easy to replace. But if you are not familiar with working on cars, I'd recommend having a shop fix it. A poorly fixed suspension can be extremely dangerous.

Phew! What a relief. Hopefully the frame isn't bent :O

You're right, I'm very new to cars in general. I got my first car (a little 90's Nissan) in March, and ever since then have had a huge interest in working on them!

I'm thinking of selling it actually, I have someone offering 1500 cash in 4 days for it in the condition it's in...
