Faulty Light Bulb & Gas Cap Sensors

Hello!

I seem to have a problem with my light bulb replacement sensor. It will come on while driving or upon initial start-up and stay on for 1-2 minutes and then disappear. I've checked all my exterior and interior bulbs and all are working. The sensor annoys me more than anything.

Also, the Check Gas Cap sensor comes on every time I get gas (it seems for the last 2-3 mths). It will stay on for like a day after gassing up. I brought this up to the tech at the BMW dealer and he recommended buying a new gas cap (like $40).

Not sure if anyone else has faced these verrrrrrrry minor (I hope) issues, but any advice is welcome.
