Do a short term lease on a E350 Bluetec or 335d

Either way, your reasons for wanting an AH5 seem wrong to me. Esp the speculation that resale will be good. Resale values generally aren't good on cars that do not sell well as new

AC stopped working - 7 weeks till new part!!!!!!!!!!

So I bought an AH5 in March, air conditioner stopped working last week... they gave me a 528 loaner and today they told me there is not a part anywhere in the world for them to fix the car and that they "might" have it at the end of SEptember.

I'm making car payments on a car, driving a car that is not to the same standard, and I"m getting mileage.

Thoughts on options?

You wont have your car more than 30 days... I would tell them that you would like either:

1. another AH5 as a loaner vehicle for the duration, or
2. Would like them to explore trade assist options.

Thats how I would handle it anyway...

If they've got an AH5 on the lot, cannibalize the part off of that

...someone at BMW NA could get a part from the supply chain in Germany if they really wanted to....emphasis on want.

Consider the diesel instead. If the Eco Credit for the diesel is reinstated, I'll be EDing a 535d for Summer 2014. Otherwise, it'll be the petrol.
