IMO I'm a little disappointed to see that HARTGE chose to go with muffler deletes ...
My E39 M5 was equipped with a full HARTGE exhaust system and it was very nice!! Based on the images a experienced muffler shop can make the same muffler deletes (if someone hasn't already) ... I'm curious how much HARTGE is asking for their muffler delete set-up ... your paying for 4 tips that say HARTGE. Again just my opinion ...

Hi
before you get a little dissapointed, there is a muffler system available too, a more expensive though, and based on the word out there, the deletes seem to produce a louder better sounding note. Quote:

Quick question, as a father of two, I need an exhaust that sounds throaty BUT, does not drone from the back seat nor get annoying for a DD.
My wife would kill me if she found out I got another loud exhaust like my last car. My kids will be riding in the back quite often so it must be reasonable in sound. Are there sound clips of all or can you make some recommendations?

In general, it will be louder but deeper and throatier. but not overly obnoxious. Is not like a loud civic that you hear from 2 blocks away The videos are on our first post, do take a look at it, and perhaps hook it up to a good stereo  Do let me know Vincent
