Anyone else due March 8th?

Seeing who my X1 will share a completion date with!

Mine is March 5th, today. It is currently on transport to port of exit. What priority status do you have? Priority 1 gets processed fastest.

Where do you find this information?

I am priority 1.

A couple of questions:

1. How does one determine their priority status?
2. What good is a high priority status if the car is just going to sit at the U.S. port of entry for two months awaiting EPA Certification?

My expected completion date is March 7.

1) on your VIR it will show priority, 1 refers to customer sold car. This gets the highest processing since it is a "sold car"

2) i was told that the cars already cleared EPA certification since they would be held at the factory not port of entry if they were not approved. My car is on transport to port of exit as we speak. Also i got a estimated delivery date from my dealer of April 19th.

Interesting. This is exactly the opposite of what my dealer told me. He said that the 2014s would sit in the U.S. port of entry until they cleared EPA and CARB. But, he didn't have an estimated completion date for that, although others on this forum have heard May 13.

Is yours a 2013 or a 2014?

Well here's hoping that your dealer is right!

I had read other articles about EPA certifications on BMW's and they wont ship them from the factory until they get epa certification. I believe the MY13 X6m had an issue/ delay in certification and all cars were held at the factory until they received the appropriate approvals. I hope it comes sooner but i would not be apposed to it coming later.

Just checked the status of my car and it has been released to the carrier at port of exit!!! now the 30day countdown is on till it gets here!!!

Checked with my dealer and mine has been released to the carrier and delivery to us by the end of the month!

That sounds like the EPA Cert was completed if you get it by the end of the month. Is that correct?

My dealer knew of no such hold on production when I asked, nor did any of the people at the 800 # when I spoke with them. My BMW account is still frozen and the dealer also said they were having difficulty from their portal.

I was told BMW does not ship cars unless cert is completed. If cert was not completed they would have been held at the factory.

Mine is completed on March 8th, too!!

Hope the EPA is already cleared and get to the US on time!!
