Best of Both Worlds - BMW plug-in-hybrid-technology
Introducing the new BMW plug-in-hybrid-technology. This is a first for BMW engineers. They have developed a dual-engine for the new BMW concept Active Tourer, which you can read more about here- http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=645709 It is equipped with a TwinPower Turbo combustion engine on the front axel, and an electric engine on the rear axel. Its combined power equates to over 140 kilowatts, and in urban settings, the electric engine while take precedence, providing up to 30km of mobility and zero emissions. The amount of effort put into the engineering of this type of vehicle is the future of efficient drive train technology at BMW. Will it be a part of your future?
