This weekend i finally bought my first BMW brand new 2013 328i, and I can't believe i am driving BMW, it's an amazing drive but the buying process was not very pleasant. Below I am listing some details on the options and price i paid and want to know your opinion how i did?
2013 - 328i Heated Seats, Navigation, Moonroof, Driver Assist Pkg MSRP - 42995 Invoice - 40130 Discount - 1200 Sale Price - 38930 Final OTD with Tax etc - 42612 I called BMW service & Parts and gave them my vin # and they say it has satellite radio hardware but needs to be activated and subscribe the service for one year $375, which i will do after i find out if i can't do it my self. Also I am reading these forums the first time and checked out multiple reviews and car&driver said that this new 328i can and will run on midgrade gas, can anyone please help me with proper info with facts. Thanks in advance for reading my post and your feedback, i love this car |

Congrats on your car and welcome to the 'fest. Your car CAN run on 89 octane. It is DESIGNED to run on 91 octane. The cost difference is barely $10 per month. Use 91+.

Why would you want to pay for the satellite radio? It only works outdoors. It also sounds tinny. I'm not renewing after the first year.

It's all a question of what you like. I like satellite radio because on long drives, especially if I'm alone, I like to listen to talk radio, it makes the time go faster. In terms of sound quality... meh.
