Battery Replacement (03,745Li)

Hey guys,

I have to replace my battery in my 2003, 745Li, and I was told it may require a memory saver. Can anyone advise whether this is true or can I just simply replace it myself?

You can replace it yourself without a memory saver, it's not bad like the S class, where the cluster lights up like a Christmas tree.. but you do have to register the battery.. either have to pay dealer to do it or an indy with the right equipment.. or buy INPA and cable like I did.. for around $40 I got the cable, INPA, NCS expert, a whole list of programs and detailed directions to do everything..
