Torque Converter replacement.. ZF 5HP19?
Anyone hay a DIY I can use to accomplish this? I've scoured the usual sources and hav ecome up with nothing. Would love to DIY this.
Is it highlighted in the Bentley? Aamco?

I posted in the "what DIY is not documentd". Look there, your last post. It's for a 4.4 v8, ZF 5HP24, but it's similar to the 5HP19. Parts are different numbers, but similar.

Thanks Doru! Definitey a good post. I am gooing to buy a replacement TC and try to do this at home. I am getting ready to retire the 530i as a DD, so I will be able to take my time.
