x5 price, 3.0
I was given a price of 2k+ over invoice on a 2004 x5 thats going to be ordered. I was told it was only 1k over invoice but that there are some other costs involved(advertising).
I was hoping to actually get one 1k over invoice. Anyone know a good sales rep in the Philadelphia area. Any clue when the 2005's are going to ship. I might just wait for them if there going to charge me this price. Thanks |

I got mine ordered for about $500. It's being built right now, so I should expect it any day now. I live in the VA area, but the dealership I went to is in MD. If you find it worth the drive to save yourself $1000 or so, pm me and I'll send you the info. I'd do it if I were you, but I'm used to driving to Philly all the time, in fact, I'm driving there this weekend. Here's what I got:
2004 X5 3.0 - Sterling Gray Metallic Auto Tranny Premium Package Cold Weather Package Heated Sterring Wheel All that for $500 over invoice. I won't promise you that it'd be $500 over invoice, but I'm sure it'll be in that area, and not far off. I know the guys, so they hooked me up. Let me know if you are interested. The MACO (regional advertising) fee paid by each dealer is often added to the base dealer's invoice. This should be taken into consideration when dealing from the invoice up. If dealing from sticker price down, then this MACO fee doesn't enter into the picture since it's a fee tacked onto the dealer's invoice, but not to the sticker price (at least it shouldn't be).

Does your invoice price include MACO or not? I've done a lot of research, and I've never seen anyone do better than $800 above invoice(non-MACO invoice).

I don't know what MACO is, but I just know that when you add up the total INVOICE price of the car and all the options I got, and throw about $500 on top, you get my paying price. But like I said, I lucked out because a friend of mine is close to the GM there. I don't know for sure if he'd be willing to give you the exact same deal. But I will definitely talk to them.
