Anyone else having a problem wiht the Mediabridge and iphones?

It can't just be 3 bad units, can it?

So here is the deal. I have an 01 Shorty sport with DSP. My Dice BT stops working. I assume it died and resort to just plugging it in and playing through AUX. Then I get an error saying "Volume" and neither method produces sound. OK, so that sucks. Find another one on ebay, still in the wrapper (really old. says DICE on the top and not Audiovox), update firmware and install. No BT, AUX works. Suddenly, I get errors saying "volume" again. Get another unit, off amazon, pug in - same problem.

is this just a software issue? is it confined to apple?

maybe a better question is has anyone made DSP software to load load onto a tablet so I rip the whole thing out?

Bump

^^^that's all you need to do, and obviously you know that because you've done it before as I can see in other forums. Speaking of those other forums, since they are not the "E38" forum you may want to add that information to your posts instead of just copy & past from here where we all know what your "01 sporty short" is.
Sorry you haven't received any responses yet but please use this method instead of creating duplicate threads within a single forum. Also sorry I can't help you, I don't use apple products, don't have DSP, don't normally even listen to the radio when in my E38 - I just listen to the car.

The Dice units are good. The odds of getting a bad one with the SAME EXACT problem is too great.
You have a possible wiring issue or software upgrade.

I spend my fortune on my BMW the rest I pissed away.

Try this : make sure the bluetooth on your iphone is on, turn on the ignition to position 2, turn the radio on, press mode button until you get the auxilary message then press the arrow button until she says Bluetooth and it should work.
