E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993. |

Hello everyone, Im in need of advice on the sound system of my 1988 BMW 325i convertible
I need to replace my back speakers and Im not sure what size they are and does anyone have recommendations on best sounding brand for Bass and etc. It will be gladly appreciated also side note I will also be replacing my old head unit it is an after market Sony Xplod the one with the AUX port as I will be moving up to a head unit with blue tooth built in. I have an amp as well, its a sony 1500 w, it powers two Kenwood 12' subs. So any help would be nice. |

if you already have two 12" subs, why do you need more from the rear speakers?
I have two 800W Sony mono blocks powering a 12" sub each in my Touring, that is WAY more bass than most people need. I could have one, but i like the symmetrical look. but rebuttal questions aside, if you want more bass from your rear speakers, upgrading to 6x9s or amping them are the only way really.

No need for more bass with rear speakers just replacements as I don't know the correct size for a convertible rear speaker.
