oil level
Recently had the 15,000 mile service performed on my 2011 X5 5.0; I checked the oil status the other day and it showed that the car is overfilled, and I also noticed a few drops of oil on my garage floor. The dealer is not able to get me in for another 5 days - is there a danger of driving the car - I have noticed any smells or blue smoke.

you could tell the dealer that unless he fixes this today, you will contact BMWNA and will give him "all ones" on the customer survey...
Id probably not use that threat off the bat, but I'd have been speaking with the SA that handled the service visit, and tell them "I'd waiting to get the service done- I should not need to wait a second to have you fix a mistake"...Any SA I have worked with would book me in immediately. Are you just calling and talking to their appointment people? Dont. A

I had the same issue a few years back. It took multiple trips to the dealer to fix (sensor replaced x2, coupled with reprogramming). Things got a little testy when I demanded that they drain the oil and measure it. Good luck
