What's needed besides coil-overs?

I'm looking into getting some coil-overs for my e90, but I'd like to take care of anything else while I'm taking care of that. I've seen air-lift kits that have for example, new control arms or ball joints, would I need any of that if I plan on lowering the car 1.7 in the front and 1.5 in the rear? Thanks in advance.

Go that low, look like low rent....um....Gentleman's Club manager.

If not spending several $thou, go with Koni FSD shocks, BMW performance springs [unless you already have the Sport Option], and M3 rear subframe bushings. Camber plates + M3 rear camber arms for spectacular handling.
