Want to sell my 2008 535xi, any ideas on a price?

This is not meant to be an actual vehicle listing (PM me if you are interested, though).

I want to sell my 2008 535xi. Do you guys have any idea what price I should ask?

The vehicle is in excellent condition and has been well maintained and has all service done on schedule. It has a clean title and has an AutoCheck score of 90.

Here are the basics:

Exterior: Jet Black
Interior: Cream Beige Dakota Leather
Wood Trim: Burl Wood
Mileage: 79,815

And some service information:

Tires: 40,000 miles remaining
Break fluid: November 2013
Engine oil: 15,000 miles remaining (just changed)
Rear break pads: 25,000 miles remaining
Front break pads: 30,000 miles remaining

It has these packages:

Premium
Sport
Cold Weather

It has these additional options:

Adaptive Cruise Control
Adaptive Xenon Headlights
Comfort Access
Heated Rear Seats
High Beam Assistant
Logic7
Navigation
Parking Sensors

Here it is on BMW VIN Decoder (bmwvin.com):

http://bit.ly/WvHtJQ

Edmunds appraises the vehicle with these values:

Trade-In: $17,896
Private Party: $20,062
Dealer Retail: $22,448

Do you guys have any ideas on what I should actually list it for? I want to sell it quickly.

Thanks.

Well i just bought mine with 69k its fully loaded minus comfort acess and its mint. I paid 18990 + tax title and lisc but i got a steal you should have no problem gettin 19-20 for it. The lower you list it on CL the more people will look at it but then they try to low ball you. Figure out what you actually want to get paid for it and list it for 1000 to 500 more then what you actually want so they can talk you down and if you get lucky you may get more then what you want. Get it cleaned and take good pics.

Well I bought my originally $65k sticker priced 08 535xi wagon last month with 77,000mi and it had the cpo extended warranty from Rusnak BMW for $20k. These cars depreciate hard unfortunately.

What in the world is an Autocheck score of 90? Assuming that is out of 100, does that mean your car is in the top 90th percentile of something?

Without seeing the car, and just by going off the information you've provided, I'd say list the car at $19,800. The Sub $20K price will attract buyers. And be firm on the price.

I have a heavily optioned 2004 545i with 30,000 miles, this car must be worth next to nothing, considering it's 4 years older than your car.

The biggest downside with mine is the mileage. But it's in fantastic condition. Just under 20K is a good idea for attracting buyers.
