ABS module help

Hi Guys , i need your help . My 525 i e60 came up to be replaced . sice the cost of new was exorbitant i started searching on ebay for one with the same part numbers. I am almost certain i got the exact part however upon receipt of it i am noticing a slight difference in part 's . The part is also listed as compatible with my car.

My question is if there is an actual difference and will this replacement unit work ?

The old one is on the Black part : 359 L3 110 304 085 .
The new part i got was 359 L3 130 904 085

The silver part is no problem as is the same.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Khemy

Well, your first issue is buying parts on eBay. Unless you know the supplier is a legitimate and authorized distributor then you have to be careful that you are not buying counterfeit parts. Not to mention that you may not have a means of support if something goes wrong.

Also, you can have the ABS module re-built by module master for about $300.

As to your question, I'd contact the seller and have them confirm that the part that you have will work with your vehicle.
