Help with 128i trailer hitch

I am the proud owner of a new 128i vert. I want to tow this car behind my motor home via a car hauler. My problem is that there will be times that I will need to place the hauler away from my camp site. I need to be able to tow with the vert a trailer that weighs about 1400 lbs. I won't need to tow over a mile and won't need lights.

I would also like to use the hitch for for a bike rack. What are my options?

I believe Curt makes a trailer that is usually advertised for the 135i but fits the 128i also. There is a thread on bimmerpost, I believe it is in the DIY section that has pictures and describes experience installing the hitch.

Was looking on eTrailer for you and found no hitches to fit 2013 128i. However, they do offer a hitch to fit the 2011 model which, correct me if I'm wrong, is the same body as the 2012 and 2013. It's possible you could get the hitch that fits the 2011 model and it will work just fine on your car. If it works out, great! If not, you've only lost a couple of hours and some return shipping cost.
