Steering wheel "THUNK," not grind, vids inside. HELP

I've read quite a few threads on steering wheel thunking, grinding... noise. So here is my video, with hopefully a sound that someone can identify and help me figure out what it is.

i've seen answers ranging from:

1. PS fluid - Checked and topped off
2. Worn suspension (could be; car has 90K miles) But what
3. Tire rub - Doesnt look like it.


Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked the u joint coupling in the steering column . Its located just before the rack.

Would that be inside the cabin, under the car, or where?

Regardless, I have not checked out anything other than poking and prodding a bit everywhere!

If I had to take a wild guess, I would have someone else turn the wheel while you listen near the shock/strut to see if that's the source of the noise.

It may only be on one side so check both when having the wheel turned back and forth.
