Off Topic : Wifey's whip - the build - Porsche Content

Just thought I would share it here, since this is the forum which I like most.

This is the wife's little project.

Stage 1

When we purchased this car, she came with 19" Champion Motorsports RS128 wheels but we had to add H&R springs to fix the wheel gap a little. We thought this would have been good for the long run, but I think we ended up going out of hand and what was supposed to be a daily driver.

Stage 2

We got bored a little too fast and swaped out the wheels for a set of 19" HRE P40's, and ditched the H&R springs for JIC Magic coilovers.

Stage 3

Wheel swap to 19" Roderick RW5 Concave wheels.

Stage 4

This is where things started getting out of hand and this is the part that took the longest. Car sat on the backburner in pieces while we were trying to find out what she wanted to do, and get a hold of all the parts. We decided to go this route because there wasnt too much aftermarket cosmetics stuff that she liked.

- JIC Magic Coilovers were ditched for KW Variant 3 Coilovers
- OEM Turbo Front End Conversion with GT3 Upper Grille, Techart Front Lip, and functioning OEM LED's
- Techart Side Skirts
- OEM Turbo Decklid with OEM Turbo Spoiler with full functioning hydraulics
- K&N Intake
- OEM 997.2 GT3 Rear bumper
- OEM 997.2 LED Tail Lamp update
- Fabspeed Maxflo Mufflers
- Fabspeed X-Pipe with Hight Flow Cats
- Fabspeed Center Exhaust Conversion with black powdercoated tips
- OEM Speedster rock guards

Last but not least. Put the HRE P40's back on for the meanwhile.

Looks great man! Probably lost alot of cash going back and forth on all those parts..

Wow! That was a huge transformation great job man. I definitely like the concave wheels over the HRE's. Both are still excellent wheel choices though.

My wife likes her cars fixed up too. She got it from me obviously. Just like a pair of shoes, she doesn't care if it rides rough if it looks great.

Agree with Rookie, the wife has excellent taste in automobiles. Love the P40's. Some of my favorite wheels.
