BMW E46 Angel eyes

When did BMW introduce angel eyes to the E46?.....Jus Bought a 2003 318i mine doesnt seem to have one.... any help will be appreciated ... Thanks in advance

Your statement has a lot of value to the E46 community for two reasons:

1) BMW never introduced factory angel eyes on the E46
2) Because you thought they did, it shows the aftermarket modification is way over done.

LED only. CCFLs seem to have issues with... you know... fires that erupt your car into a massive inferno of BMW death.

dude CCFLs get INSANELY hot regardless of wiring skills you know this:P

just installed my Angel Eyes
finished installation at night but couldn't take any pic cuz the insane brightness got my iphone cam messed up and took a blurry shot of the headlights
and i thought the CCFL/LED debate was done ever since the LED was released, how come people still ask about the CCFL?

Because people don't actually read. All they see in CCFL in capital letters and fail to read the sentence that follows. Normally something along the line of "... caught my car on fire".

this shows that people are a bit lazy. whatever they wanna know they ask about it immediately instead of doing some research of their own
when i researched which is best, CCFL or LED, bought the LED, and the act of installing them myself gave me a great amount of satisfaction, since I did it on my own and learned something new

I know for a Fact Ive done research on the angel eyes. One obvious fact is that those CCFL tend to be more cheaper that the standard LED. Need I mention they look better? Went buying mine about over a year ago (I think) They warmed my heart up. But until I noticed alot of weirdo's with OTHER manufactured cars having them as well. Boy that got me heated. *Coughs* Camaro's *Coughs*

I've said it before, I'll say it again. I am one of the people who think CCFL looks better (There seems to be 11 people on earth who agree with me as far as I can tell). I am also one of the people who ran them for almost 4 years in one of my e46's without any issues at all because I wired them correctly and weatherproofed my connections.

Yeah every third bimmer I see that did not come AE equipped has them. More 5 series than 3 series though. I think that's just because the men to women driver ratio is much more lopsided for the 5 series.

Make it 12. LEDs... too bright and segmented... imho of course.

CCFLs do look better(more OEM in the lines of e39) but e46s never came with angel eyes(correct term: corona rings).

I have orionlites(LEDs) from umnitza, which I am still debating whether I should remove them or not.
I like them as my DRLs but now a days I see similar lights on old chrystlers and all. Too played out.
