Mein Auto: 2013 X5 35i Xdrive
2013 X5 35i Rev hanging and Abrupt Power Delivery

After a nice trip averaging 23.4 MPG i noticed the car feels sluggish. When i put the car in DS mode it seems to be very abrupt and power isnt smooth like before, Furthermore the RPMS do not drop and rev hang for at least 3 seconds then drop in 800 rpm incraments.

Im quite certain the car didnt do this before but i wanted to ask people on here before i make a complaint to BMW North America. The car was in service last month and i had the same complaint and all they put on the work order was "learning drivers profile ". Car has 4,000 miles was purchased brand new with 14 miles

might be a tuning issue. BMW 8 spds probably have ways to go until they are fine tuned. Hope BMWNA is able to resolve it for you. I have heard the sluggishness issues with 8 spds not just with bmw but with WV/Audi/Porsche too. I guess the technology just takes time to stabilize.

Bring it back to the dealer and have them write the specific complaints into a new work order. What it is doing, that it was the same issue as ROxxxxx, then an additional yyymiles were put on the car and the issue remains.

UNTIL you get this on the work order, I suspect THREE times, the dealer AND BMWNA will do nothing.

If you go to BMWNA, you will be told 'well talk to the dealer, but you need to bring it in there"... IF you tip a hand with BMWNA too early, the dealer will circle the wagons.

Dealer First, Same Issue, Build the record.

My 2 cents
