Question ECU rebuild

My 02 330i was diagnosed after coil and plug swap with a faulty Engine Control Module.
Rather than buy a new $1400 or replacing the ECU & EWS i researched and found a co that says they can rebuild mine and it will be a plug and go, No reprograming or Syncing.
I have looked the web over to find out how reliable this co is but could only find their web page. The co is RPM Motorsport Ltd. of Canada. Has anyone had any experience with them good or bad

They seem to be very knowledgeable and helpful But Bernie Madoff seemed that way too!

I used this company years ago to have an ABS module rebuilt. Excellent prices and quality workmanship. The module lasted for the remaining life of the car.

i don't know if this might help (supposedly it should) but have your ECU performance remapped (dunno where in the US u can do it exactly but many festers can help) they will install you a brand new software that is enhanced for better performance. this way you can have ur ECU back in top shape and u'll gain an enhanced performance of around 15hp
where i'm from it costs around 650$, dunno about u guys
