Question 2014 or 2015 X3, can you share your opinion?

Hi guys,

I went to my local bmw dealer in Bellevue, WA
I saw around 5 or 6 x3 2014 model, I picked one which is ~46000 has technology package and some parts of the premium package.

now the big question, does it worth it now or should I wait for 2015?
what will be the selling price for 2014 after couple of month when the 2015 hit the dealer?
I don't want after two months to see the price of 2014 drops to the point I regret I didn't wait to either get the 2015 for the same price or 2014 for reduced price.

I need a car rapidly since i'm on rental now, but I want to make the right choice regardless.

appreciate your opinions from your BMW experience about***********:
does it worth waiting for 2015 model?
what is the typical price drop of the previous year model when new one hit the road
when it is expected date for the 2015 mode to reach the dealers

Thank you so much in advance for sharing your thoughts.

Wait for 2015 LCI. There are more options offered that was only for X5, Now X3 will have available in 2015.

2015's are out now. You can expect to get $7,000 to $9,000 off MSRP on a 2014. You can't go wrong either way.

The longer you wait you take more of a chance of not getting a 14, dealers are clearing out 14's as 15's will start rolling in over the next couple weeks

If you don't care for the new tech in the 15 model then get the 14 model. But if it were me I want the new tech so I would get the 15.

To get the LCI for under invoice in addition to the $2000 factory incentive, you probably wont see that for at least a few years.

Thanks guys,

i'm planning to go to BMW seattle tomorrow and see what they have and then compare to the Bellevue one,
the sales person in Bellevue saying that the 2015 model would cost me more, I built an almost similar 2015 model online and it costs ~1000 more,

on 2014 I got 1000 more incentive over the regular 2000 incentive, but that make the difference just 2000 over the 2015 (after the incentive)

I think I have to squeeze more on the 2014 if I get back to him, since i'm reading in the forum some got 6000 or more incentive on their 2104 x3
