have a red car on right side NAV display ...

....... "check control" asking .... brake fluid and microfilters, I already add fluid is full and change all filters a week ago, how can I reset this message or do I need to take to the dealer?

u dont have to take to the dealer but u do have to have an OBD reader

i see u are from san francisco, take your car to 19th ave and Quintara, and i am sure those guys will reset that for u... maybe for a small fee, maybe free. its a 1 min job

When car is running or ignition is on I believe you hold down the trip button until the gauges light up.. I know thats what I did to reset my brake pads bringing up the red car.

i dont have the car anymore

i totally forgot about the hidden menu

if u cant get it reset thru it, i am pretty sure u can thou, just hit up those guys

1=Sit in the drivers seat,doors shut and key out of slot.
2=Put key into slot and press the start button so the ignition is on.(not started)(do not put foot on brake)
3=Wait 5-7 seconds,then press and hold the button in the cluster top of speedo dial.
4=Hold this button for 5-7 seconds and a menu should come up in the middle of the speedo dial when this happens let go of the button and then to scroll through the menu using the same button in the speedo dial until you come to the item you need to change.
5=Then press and hold the same button again for 5-7 seconds and the next menu should come up in the rev counter dial,scroll through this menu to reset and press and hold for the last time.
This should reset the item you need changed.

The brake system is supposed to have the fluid flushed and replaced every two years, that mabe why the light came on. Just adding fluid doesn't solve the problem.

When you get to the hidden menu as directed above, you need to go to item #19 which is unlock. You hold down the trip reset stalk for a second and it will ask you for the unlock code. The code is found by adding the last 5 digits of your VIN. This unlocks all functions of the hidden menu.
