2013 BMW M5 Leases

Hi, found this website while looking into the M5 Residuals, and noticed there was a "ask a dealer" section. I'm looking to possibly get into a M5 for a 24 or 36month lease, before the end of the year. Max $1000 down, and 15,000 mile per year. As it looks like there are some dealers here, I was hoping someone might be able to provide me with what the numbers would look like for this, without Texas sales tax. I want a Monte Carlo Blue with black interior, DCT preferred, and I can live with or without the other options. Thinking about a car with a MSRP of $100-$105k. If anyone has some info, I'd love to get an idea, thanks in advance!

I found one dealer that is asking TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS above MSRP for its new M5s, and they have eight in stock.

Another dealer close by wants TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS above MSRP. It has five in stock.

Both claim limited production/availability.

Haha, there is at least one dealer down here in South Florida doing the same thing on M6's. The sticker has another sheet of paper attached to the window with "Market Adjustment" or something similar to the tune of $25k.

I just laugh and read the sign as "This is a car we never want to sell"

Amazingly, I've read on other forums of some guy who actually has a neighbor that walked in and bought an M6 with a $20k premium like this.

M6 is a slow mover so reasonable deals can be made below msrp..

Interesting to know, but I am happy with my choice of an X6M

Not down here in South Florida. The dealers are somewhat of a mafia and refuse to negotiate on anything.

Thankfully... we have board sponsors to work with.

There is one dealer that has a 2012 Monte Carlo Blue M6 convertible for sale AS A DEMO. Wow!!

Can you say the same for in stock M3s? Very tempting with the residual/holiday credits/max MSDs/tax credit.

Also, I have one queston...if I took delivery on Jan 2, 2013, does that count as a 2012 sales or 2013 for the dealer?

2 weeks ago, I helped my sister-in-law leased a 535i xdrive. While I was reviewing her lease printout at the dealer, her sales tax was only $192.50. That was sales tax for the holiday & loyalty credits ($2,750 x 7% - NJ). According to her lease contract, her lease payment was depreciation + rent charge, no sales tax.

She traded in a 2012 Pilot, her loan was $29,000 and dealer gave her $29K for the trade-in.

Ah right! MD has that aswell. It almost makes trading in a car vs. selling it yourself a no brainer.
