rattle noise on left side of engine?

Any ideas on what it may be? recently i sarted hearing a small rattle noise some where to the left of the engine? it happens when im stoped or its iddleing? is it a serious problem? I dont feal any thing wrong with the performance of my car seems to be running just fine but im still worried about the noice. What could it be?

Sounds like alternator, but I could be wrong.

Start the car pop the hood and use your ears shouldnt be hard to pinpoint

The alternators are known to sound like bad bearings, etc. on these cars.. I would get a long driver or something and put it carefully on the alt. and to your ear and see if it's coming from there.
