m60 forced induction

I have a 95 530i, so m60.
I've been looking around and this what i got for forced induction.
Either a custom turbo job or a $6000 supercharger pushing mid 3s for hp.
Is there nothing better for a 10.0:1 compression v8?
Please tell me there's more... Looking for at least 450.
I turboed small block American v8s before and worked on bimmers.
I know my way around an engine.(not like google can't give you ase knowledge)
I'd really like to go turbo and i know everyone says 6-8 psi superchargers.
Has anyone figured out a good turbo setup.
Maybe a thicker head gasket to lower compression or am i just spitting in the wind.
And I'm looking for 530i solutions and not the easy get a 525i answer.

$6000 for a mere supercharger ?

Well supercharger kit.
Unless you give me the link to some where cheaper.
Also besides the point.

Still wouldnt beat a 2JZ.

First of it's a M60b30.The M60b30's aren't gonna get you nowhere fast,so you would need to swap out your engine to either M60b40 or an M62b44. Turbos haven't been done on any M60's on the street. Dinan built a turbo race car back around '95. There are a few forced induction M60's on another forum. 2 supercharged and a turbo being built. One of the supercharged cars has already blown his engine. As for the turbo build it's going very slowly.

However like Joe said after forced induction a 5er wouldn't be able to keep up with a turbo Supra.
