What Prices Are You Getting Your F30?

First, I want to introduce myself. My name is Jon, I am from Kansas City, MO. I am looking into getting my first BMW (We have a Mini, if that counts)

I am going to the dealership over the weekend, to see what kinda deal I can come up with. I am curious as to whats others are getting out of there with.

If you wouldn't mind sharing what MSRP was on your F30, and what you walked out paying. It would really help me in my efforts of finding a good deal.

Wow thats an base M3... Why so high? Whats the price gap with active hybrid and regular?

I had a 2012 E92 M3 until very recently. I don't like the "base" models of anything.

Price delta of AH3 vs. 335i = $6500. Currently there is a $3500 eco-credit to offset that, in addition to free options such as heated steering wheel, Lane Departure/Forward Collision Warning and Speed Limit Info (when you order Driver Asst Package).

At $57,420 you obviously got a Sport Line with nearly every option.

I got the exact same options as you, but got the M-sport line (nicer steering wheel ), side/rear sunshade, and hybrid system, for $1800 more than your out-the-door price. You definitely got a good deal, but for that extra $1800 I also got the new Navigation, and expect 40mpg. To me, it was a no-brainer.

I personally am coming from a 2012 F-150 FX4. My wife though has the Mini, but in efforts of reliablity I have found the Mini to be light years ahead of my truck which was bought 6 months ago and is the service shop for the 7th time (yes, 7th..) since the purchase.

It's surprising to hear people coming from a car they've had for only 1 year (2012 models) into the new F30. I guess a year with the current 2012 model must be really bad.

Sounds like you just got a bad truck. The fords are notoriously reliable. I came from a 2005 FX4 into my 2012 335. My truck only went to the shop once in 7 years and that was for a bad motor on my power rear sliding glass.

I got 7 % off sticker. Spent 4 hrs negotiating. Price was $45,420 after sport, premium, HK sound, HID and enhanced bluetooth. That was on a custom order that took 45 days to arrive. Good Luck you will love the car.

In my case, I was coming from a 2012 M3 coupe. Which is an incredible car! But we recently had our second child, and it was not a suitable daily driver, having two small kids needing car seats. Enter the ActiveHybrid 3

Tomorrow I am zeroing in on a 335 x drive. Hoping to get at least 4k off sticker. Will update once finalized

Oh no, not another mini thread!

From personal experience, I went in and told the dealer that I wanted to do an ED. They gave me the car at $200 over invoice, BUT gave me $1750 in rebates. I got $1000 for financing with BMW, and $750 for owning a BMW.... So I got for $1550 below invoice but paid $700 in crap fees..... but still got it UNDER $800 invoice..... they are really trying to beat out Mercedes Benz before the end of hte year.

I paid $0 tax because I did a sale/in-and-out-trade for my M3. There was a few hundred dollars in MACO/doc fees on top of the $55k.

I got it under invoice before holiday cash. End of month clearing out I guess. It was the first offer on a 2013

I actually got a EB2 M-Sport 335i with sport auto, 19" rims, HK sound, Tech pkg, Premium Pkg, Driver Assist Pkg, Heated Seats.

Ah. For that $1500 delta between Sport and M-sport, I was assuming you got Driver Assistance Plus, Auto High beams, and Cold Weather Package in addition to the Tech, Premium, Sport Auto and HK that you do have. Who knew there were so many ways to back into exactly $57,420?!?

Don't you take a huge hit from the car's depreciation vs lease/purchase cost brand new?

To me a Mini would not count.

My MRSP was $55,970 and I paid $52,244.75. This does not include the documentation fee and tax/tag/title. It was $599.75 over the invoice price calculated from bmwconfig.com.

My advice would be to use the bmwconfig to determine exactly what you want and what you want to pay. Compare your haggle price to the price you could get if you used a car buying service.
