Short shifters
So I've been looking around at some short shifters for the E34 and it seems the only aftermarket options are really expensive for some reason, like the UUC Evo 3 - $350. I've heard a few people have been putting in other OEM shifters instead of the insanely over priced aftermarket brands. From what I've seen people have used shifters from Z3s and E30 M3s. What is a good, affordable option for reducing my shifter throw? I'd like to spend less than $150, anything more expensive isn't worth half a second off my shift time. I have the Getrag 260/5 transmission if that makes any difference.

I would post on mye28.com for one and you should get one for a good price. It is a a very active site and the e28 535i used the same manual tranny.
