Problems after cleaning the filters on VANOS solenoid valves
Hello.
I was replacing the camshaft sensor in bank 2 on my 2003 BMW 745li, because I just got the code for it. Replacing the sensor did not help the issue and check engine is still on. After that I decided to take out and clean both VANOS solenoid valves. After I put them back in, the car started to vibrate, and it seems like I got a miss fire ( although there is no code for any cylinder miss). Could my procedure of cleaning the valves (I used air) destroy them? and what is the solution to this problem? Thanks in advance. Any help will be much appreciated...
