6 Series
The BMW 6 Series builds on BMW's sporty heritage with aggressive lines and an incredible motor to back the design up. Available in coupe and convertible trims with a standard 4.8 liter engine producing 360 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, the 6-series is a popular choice that exceeds expectations. |

New Front Bumper Purchase Prior, OEM, Duraflex
Hi All,
The front bumper on my 650 has been damaged over the years from high curbs and parking blocks. Underneath is currently rigged together via some random screws so it doesn't hang. The paint on the bumper is actually cracking and peeling now because it has caught a few curbs and flexed upwards. Anyway, I am looking for a new bumper to be fitted and installed/painted on my 6. I have some hookups for stock 650i bumpers at very good prices but wanted to upgrade to a M6 style. I am looking at the Prior Design M6 style as well as something I found today from a company Duraflex. Any experience out there with either company. Duraflex located HERE is made of some fiberglass, plastic, flex resin blend and looks like a pretty solid body part. Not sure if they offer park sensor version. Don't see it on site. ![]() Prior is more money and is a touched up M6 Style located HERE. They state a fiber reinforced plastic as the material used in manufacturing. Looks pretty mean.

IMO...
With the Prior Design front bumper your car may look a little "off balance" with the side and rear still stock.... If i was to do tht front i would have to do M6 sides and a rear spoiler... |

I damaged my front bumper last month so i decided to get that prior design one , i waited for 3 weeks to get it and when it finally came it end up being a big peace of ****!!! It was nothing like they said it's going to be...it was all fiber glass , not primed, no brackets for it , didn't even fit right and when my body shop called the guy from prior design back to return it he wasn't answering his phone....dude don't waist you time and money!! If you really want an aftermarket bumper , pay extra and get Hamann or something ...

Thanks Mike. Good to find somone that had exp with this company. Sorry about your issues though, sucks!! What did you end up doing with the bumper..Did you get it mounted. Any pics? Or did you end up getting a refund?
Yeah, i think im going to just get a stock OEM piece. I can get a brand new one from BMW for under $400. Or, if i go aftermarket i think a Hamann or more rep company would be better to go with.

Duraflex is not OEM. Im not sure but my bodyshop show me there are lots of flaw on the finerglass bumper from duraflex. They suggest to get OEM but OEM is way too expensive for me. I'll post my car after things done

A fiberglass bumper might be hard to fit, & easy to crack near curbs. I would think an OEM quality bumper would probably be my choice. Aftermarket OEM like bumpers would probably have to be fitted to the car, before any paint work is done. Some urethane bumpers seem to distort when painted, from heat in the paint booth.

I don't know whether my shop is not that good or Duraflex is just trash. The front from Duraflex does not fit, at least that what LTBMW told me. They suggest I buy one used from them.
