Porsche Forum

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this question - but can anyone recommend a good Porsche Forum?

Thanks in advance.

^^This.

Pelican Parts is an incredible resource, especially if you are a 911 owner.

A lot depends on what model Porsche you have. I owned a 993 cab and a 993 turbo and found Rennlist.com to be great. I can't speak highly enough of that group of enthusiast. For the first generation Boxster S I found 986forum.com to be good.

Agree with all of the above, Rennlist and 6speedonline are very good.

I would just add Renntech.org for technical information.

You have to donate to access the database but it's well worth it.

Rennlist is good and has many racing enthusiasts as members, 6speedonline is ok but is the "lighter" of the 2.

I've learned quite a bit from all of them.

Rennlist for sure. I have a 997 and have been an active member for about 4 years.

Great group of knowledgeable people there (excluding me).

I've been enjoying both 6speedonline and Rennlist recently for P-car discussion. Still lusting after a 997.

Definitely buy a 997, they are worth the high price of entry.

I have had mine approximately four years, and it still puts a grin of my face every time I start it and hear the Porsche Sport Exhaust growling from the flat six.

Their racing heritage is deep and trumps every other car on the road with regard to this, including Ferrari. And they are significantly less maintenance prone than a Ferrari.

I wish I had done it sooner. I would have saved money by not trading cars so often trying to find the one I really enjoy.

My Next One...

I, too, lust after a 997. C4S with PDK. I've owned 8 Porsches. There is nothing like the sound or feeling like you are being chased by a fast car. Still love my Bimmers, though. Five so far. Surely, there will be more.

I'm dying to get one, but unfortunately still have 16 months left on my F10 lease, and I doubt anyone would take it over without a significant amount of cash included.
