Chrome to Black

I want to make all the chrome such as on the windows, bumpers and on top going from back to front black and the color of the car. Am I able to buy the trim or just get it colored?

Take them all out and paint them.Just got mine done today.

Look into plasti-dip.

Get some gloss black vinyl and wrap it yourself. I did all the chrome trim on my old 750 and it came out great. I have also done work on other friends cars as well and done the reflectors on each of my current cars. All of this with a $30 roll of vinyl off eBay. Read up and watch a few YouTube videos. You will need to be patient, or if your like me do it over a few days and quit when you've had too much to drink. You will need a hair dryer and you can cut it with a credit card or razor (I use both).

Plastidip is a great option, I have used it on a friends 335, but it is matte black so it wouldn't be my first choice for a 7 as I think the gloss is more classy.

Here are a few pictures of my chrome trim the day I took the vinyl off after a year. It still looked as good as new!

Lol @ "quit when you've had too much to drink" .. I know guys that do better work when they are drunk off their a$$.

It gets dangerous with all the knives and sticky vinyl. I almost killed myself, totaled my car, and knocked my house down when I took the vinyl off.
